Tuesday Bike, Run & Weights

I got up as usual at 4:00 am. I'd been awake for almost an hour already at that time. I had a 90 minute technical bike ride to do. That meant, no Ironman course to ride, this one had to be in ergometer mode. Boring, but it does the job!

I looked at my Rolling Stones DVD's and thought, "Oh no, not a Stones concert again". That's all I've watched for a while now. I have a Queen concert. I loved Freddie Mercury, but he ain't no Rolling Stone!

Even though I'm really tired of the same old concerts, they really are good to bike to. At one point about 1/2 way through my ride, I had a few minutes at zone 2 and a 90 cadence. Street Fighting Man was getting cranked up and I was into it. I looked at my cadence and found I was at 115! I guess music works. Now I have to figure out how to take the music with me for Ironman!

The tech ride was great today. Varied in speed, cadence and watts. The time went by pretty quickly. I got changed quickly after and headed over to the club. I feel like I hadn't been there for months. It was great to see Nadia and Christine again. I did a quick paced 15 minute run, and then took my time doing all the weight stuff that I do.

10 minutes of stretching and it was off to the steam room and showers once again. It feels good to be back at it.
