Saturday Taper - Run and Bike

I got to bed extra early last night and got a GREAT sleep. Nadia had dropped off more chocolate so I had my chocolate fix before I fell asleep. I really do know why I'll never get rid of this 'Buddha Belly' of mine!

I went straight over to the club at 7:00 and did my nice and easy 15 minute run, then I headed to the spin class. I asked Gabby if she minded me coming in late and doing my own thing and she was fine with it. There were only a couple of other folks in the class, so I wasn't really disturbing anyone too much.

It's kind of fun doing a spin class, but taking it very easy at the same time. I didn't care that there was a puddle of sweat beside everyone else except me!

I was pushing Frank to come and run tomorrow, but he promised his sweetie that he'd go to Sarnia with her tomorrow. I, of course because I'm so understanding and supportive of everyone, pushed like crazy that he forgot about that and came raced tomorrow, but he was stronger minded!

I would have liked to have had a nice steam this morning, but they are still renovating the steam room. Apparently now it will be ready next week . . . when we're away.

Maybe that's better. If it's doing to fall apart again, it can fall when I'm not there.

I feel great, rested, energetic and am ready to go knock the hell out of that elusive sub 3:00 hour 30k race time tomorrow!
